'Well I'm home from the Daiwa Walterland Masters in Hungary, as usual alot of driving, but well worth it for one of the biggest events in Europe and a pleasure to be there.
It was a three day event and feeder only and after three days practice we were pretty confident. The Daiwa team consisted of myself, Steve Ringer, Adam Wakelin and Martin Greene, what a team!
To cut a long story short, after three days we finished 2nd and only five points behind winners Slovakia. We were a little disappointed not to win, but all the same it was a great result.
Personally I finished 8th individually, so again very happy. I would like to thank Tamas (Walter) for inviting us, also Daiwa for sponsoring the event, and would also like to congratulate everyone who fished this amazing event!!!! Roll on next year, and let's see if we can go one better!!!!!' Will Raison.
